Introduction
to Lyrical Line
Everything
on Lyrical Line is free to you (with the exception of
items for sale in the Book Store). There is more than
enough information to keep you busy for months. There
are a few reasons to visit on a weekly basis, but the
most important thing you need to do right now is sign
up for our free newsletter. In it, we give you
the location of exclusive articles and other information
available to our subscribers first. We don't give out
your email address to anyone. You being a subscriber is
more important to us than selling your email address.
You can sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of this
page.
Lyrical Line has a number of sections on the site
which are updated on a frequent basis and we provide
numerous opportunities for you interact with us
and other songwriters.
Interacting
with Lyrical Line and other songwriters
We have a Q&A section called "What Songwriters Want
to Know" where professional songwriters answer
your questions. You can also browse the answers
others have asked.
Write & Wrong, our most famous section, is where
you can post your songs and get feedback from visitors
like yourself and even a professional here and there.
The SpotLite is a section for you to show off your
best. If you have a song "signed" or want to strut
your stuff, this is the place to do it.
The Forum is for you to post your own message for
other visitors to see. Are you seeking a co-writer
or do you have a guitar for sale? You'll find it
in The Forum.
Lyrical Line also hosts a email discussion list
called SongNotes.
To join in on the fun, all you have to do is subscribe
(for free) by filling out the subscription form,
email your questions/comments to a different email
address (songnotes@lyricalline.com) which will distribute
your message to everyone who has subscribed, and
read the various emails that are exchanged between
songwriters of all skill levels.
Now
if that isn't enough for you, we've got more.
Lyrical Line publishes a new, original article every
month and sometimes more on the topic of songwriting.
We've got the most extensive list of books for sale
about songwriting available anywhere on the Internet
through our arrangement with Amazon.com.
We
have links galore in our Resources section which
direct you to quality Web sites offering something
valuable to songwriters. We've also got an online
rhyming dictionary for you to use at your convenience.
Of course there's more, but you'll have to explore
the site. The home page has a complete overview
of the site.
Now sign up for our free newsletter. Again, we NEVER
give out your information and you will only receive
email from us. You may receive an email, sent by
us, about sponsors of our site, but they will be
sponsors that we think have something valuable to
offer you as a lyricist or songwriter. We will never
abuse the privilege of having you as a subscriber.
